Over 100 years of tradition and old-fashioned recipes are what make this longtime Rutherford Chamber member business a local gem. Owners Kathy Young and Mike Fenick came together as partners in the business in 1991 and have carried on the traditions of this iconic fixture of our community. Kathy and Mike run this authentic German bakery the old fashioned way “literally”. With a rare oven dating back over 120 years, a 100 year old mixer, and a century old Kaiser roll recipe that’s 2nd to none. Also famous for their apple strudel and German chocolate cake, there is nothing about this bakery that doesn’t scream good old neighborhood bakery that we all grew up with. The Rutherford Chamber of Commerce celebrate and applaud Kathy and Mike for their longtime membership and for keeping good old tradition alive and well.
