Member Spotlight: Meadowlands Museum

The Meadowlands Museum was created originally in 1961 as the Rutherford Junior Museum. The museum moved in the mid 1970’s to its current location at 91 Crane Ave, one of the oldest Dutch farmhouses in southern Bergen County and soon after becoming the Meadowlands Museum. This Rutherford gem is operated completely by volunteers. The museum features many exhibits including household artifacts, Meadowlands area geology, and two rooms dedicated to the life of Rutherford icon William Carlos Williams.

The Museum is open to the public on Saturdays 10 AM – 4 PM, admission is by donation. To learn more call 201-935-1175 or go to https://www.meadowlandsmuseum.com/.
